Foam fire suppression system works on extinguishing and controlling the fire with the help of concentrated foam and water. This mixture forms a homogeneous foam blanket works on a comprehensive method of putting the fire out by cooling the fire down and controlling the vapors.
Foam suppression system uses two different types of foams to extinguish the fire; Class A foams, and Class B foams. Class A foams are generally used by fire departments to extinguish residential and small commercial fires.
